We will do our best to accommodate you, but if we feel there isn’t adequate time to give you the experience you deserve, you will be asked to either alter the service you are booked for, or reschedule.
Phone Use
We understand that life does not stop just because you are getting your nails done, while cell phones and children are welcome in the salon, if they become disruptive to our other guests experience, you may be asked to reschedule.
UV Lamps Use
UV (ultra violet) lights have been used to cure artificial nail products worldwide for many years. According to an independent study by a dermatologist, UV lamps only produce UVA rays and the exposure you receive during your soak off gel service is the equivalent to 2.7 minutes in natural sunlight. If you are still concerned about the exposure to UV rays, you are welcome to wear sunscreen during your gel service.
We only use LED lights for our gel services.
Nail Damage
Most commonly white spots are the result of a mild trauma to your nail bed, a possible side effect of medications or a sign of dehydration. Ridges are usually caused by a variation in the rate of cell turnover, which slows with age, and is usually genetic. It is always a good idea to pay attentions to changes or abnormalities in your nails, and to consult your doctor if you are concerned.
Solar Nails
Pink and white acrylics are achieved by sculpting a French manicure look from two colors of acrylic powder.
Solar Nails is simply the brand of acrylic powder created by Creative Nail Designs.

Shellac Powder
Basically, there is NO difference between these services. Shellac is a brand name most commonly associated with soak off gel polish; think tissue and Kleenex! Gel polish and soak off gel polish are just different ways to describe the process and products used to achieve the long lasting manicure that is cured under either a UV or LED light, and has to be soaked off in 100% acetone for removal.
Manicure Acrylic
A manicure and/or gel manicure is where we concentration on your “actual/real” nails; trimming and shaping your nails, the cuticles, and polishing on polish or gel polish on your nails.
A full set, also known as artificial set, is where we apply solar powder and liquid onto your “actual/real” nails in order to extend your nail length and/or make it stronger using the powder, depending on your needs and wants for your nails.
Manicure = dealing with your real nails
Full Set = applying artificial nails and/or solar powder to your existing nails.
